YH-S34 TDS Organophilic Clay
YH-S34 is an organoclay (tetraallkyl ammonium bentonite) for solvent-based systems of low,Website:http://www.organophilic-clay.com, medium and high polarity.1. Advantages:? High gelling efficiency over low, medium and high polarity organic liquids.? Easy of incorporation. No need for polar activator or making pregel.? Consistent in rheology and excellent thixotropy development.? Easy of dispersion especially in styrene and alcohol solvent. Dust-free addition.? Excellent anti-sagging property and anti-sediment property.? Can replace fumed silica in epoxy resin systems and unsaturated resin systems with better thixotropy performance and more economical price.2. Incorporations:YH-S34 belongs to the unconventional type of organoclays group, being an easy-to-disperse, self-activated organoclay, YH-S34 does not require a chemical (polar) activator to reach the proper level of delamination of the organoclay platelet stacks. However, in systems like styrene, xylene,200#solvent oil and compund solvent, pre-gel method is also acceptable.5. Recommended Levels:The amount of YH-S34 rheological additive required depends upon the type of organic system and the degree of thickening or other properties desired. Addition levels are typically between 0.2%-0.6% based on the total formulation weight. For special purpose, for example, in hand layup unsaturated resin,1-6% is recommended.6. International Countertype: Tixogel?-MP250
